Jasper (Whistlers Campground), Alberta (scenery, more scenic scenery)

Here we are in scenic Jasper, at the north end of the valley that heads towards Banff.  Not much to see here except iconic Canadian vistas. Mountains to the left. Mountains to the right. Here I am, stuck in the middle with… rivers. And Elk.

You can’t escape the mountains. They can be seen  everywhere, even from the campground.

We got lucky with our campsite. In addition to mountains all over the place, there are trees everywhere. We got lucky because our Starlink antenna was not obstructed by trees or mountains!

If ever there was an iconic shot of Jasper this captures it all: mountains, trees, water and a chi-chi golf course.
