Blidinje Lake, Bosnia

After leaving Mostar with no damage other than a few scuffs from the tight street leaving our last accommodation, we head out for some wild camping at Blidinje Jezero (lake).

We parked Rosie right on the edge of the lake.
The lake is tiny, but the surrounding mountains make up for it!

The lake is tiny and shallow. The wind picked up and turned the water to the colour of mud.

A local ranger dropped in to say hi, he even brought ID, and to collect 15 euros – our fee for camping in the park!

The next day we moved to a different spot, just across the lake and up a bit higher, to get a different view.

The wind was howling as we hiked up to this peak, a much lower peak than across the valley!
A nice sunny spot out of the wind!
