Kruzi Planina (Krug Mountain Plateau), Bosnia

We had to come to the Kruzi Panina because there are wild horses on the plateau, and because the English translation is “Krug Mountain Plateau”. Rosie wanted a look at her namesake.

Great place for hiking on the plateau.
Lots of hiking in the surrounding hills as well. Reminds us of Canada.

We spent a few days on the Krug Plateau. After the first night we moved to a treed area as it was less exposed to the wind. Great place to camp as you could pick just about anywhere to stop. Lots of 4×4 trails around. We saw a few cars, ATVs and motorcyles, but not a lot of traffic at all, and nothing at night.

Saw about 30-35 horses on the plateau one day, but didn’t get too close as we had the dogs with us.
