Still heading south and west, but not as far today. No snow nearby and temps in the low-mid twenties, so we can hang around instead of scooting down the road.
Our destination today is Withrow Springs State Park ( https://www.arkansasstateparks.com/parks/withrow-springs-state-park ), chosen due to (i) not too far to drive, (ii) we can stay for 3 nites, and most importantly (iii) the state has not turned off the toilets!
Bought groceries for three days at the local Walmart. Food prices are definitely on the rise in the US, just like in Canada.
Very small campground located on a spur road that runs through the park. A bit of traffic around rush hours, but very quite at other times.

There is a fire ban in the park, so only briquets in the upright barbeques are allowed. Took a while to figure out how to get enough heat to cook our burgs (someone, no names to be mentioned, cheated and zapped her burger in the microwave to finish it off). Anyways, tasty burgs hit the spot.
Update November 2, 2022:
No driving today, so slept in, had a big breakfast, took the dogs for a walk and a paddle in a creek.
Spaghetti diner with wine and candles in Rosita. Nice nite all round!
Update November 3, 2022:
Big trip into town today. Went to Huntsville (pop 2k+) to do laundry and buy a new trailer plug for Rosita (rubber casing connecting wire to plug has split). Found a laundromat right next to an auto parts store, so clean sheets and a new part for Rosita!
Also, finally got around to updating the travel blog today. Paper notes finally turned into travel blog pages, which hopefully last longer!
